Binary Search
Given an array of integers nums sorted in ascending order, and an integer target, write a function to search target in nums. If target exists, return its index. Otherwise, return -1. You must write an algorithm with O(log n) runtime complexity.
The step-through player is coming for this one. Two Sum has the full animation today; the rest are being authored in the admin.

left, right = 0, len(nums) - 1
while left <= right:
mid = (left + right) // 2
if nums[mid] == target:
return mid
elif nums[mid] < target:
left = mid + 1
else:
right = mid - 1
